Thank you, my friend. A long time coming? But never imagined, until now, when I seem to need this practice of dark-morning thinking desperately. Just followed you back!
The telling trail of writing by hand. The engagement of the body as a unified entity, resulting in a kinesthetic expression of life on the page. Thanks for the reminder of this thrill.
Exquisite. I read this on Rona's recommendation in Notes. I'm so glad I did. As I read it I felt that Virginia Woolf had walked into the room, whispering calm.
I absolutely love looking at writer's drafts. It tells its own story. I can't imagine what craziness will be seen by others in my notebooks with all of their cross outs, arrows, and notes.
Beautiful, as I knew it would be. Welcome to Substack, Beth.

How wonderful to read this with early coffee! Glad you're here, Beth.
It's so very nice to know you are near. Coffee, or tea. :)

Yes. And the way I feel, in these early days of writing The Hush and the Howl. The thrill. Thank you, Charlotte.
