Lovely thoughts to read this morning. Your characters and their stories have stayed with me, and I’m happy to have them in my life—along with you, of course! Happy birthday, dear Beth.
I'm well into your story of another time and all time. I am in their world. Thank you so much for your determination to tell the stories. And Bill's painting on the cover is delicious. I study it each time I open the book. Seems like she is looking out towards us. Your evocation of her in the end days, at the beginning of the book, is so spot on it took me back to my own mother's last days. Your research and re-imagining of her life is true testament to love, my friend.
You have no idea how very much I appreciate these words, on this day. They mean so much. This is the why of writing. Because I can't help it. And: Readers like you. xoxoxo
I love the last line of this, and how well you capture the feeling of being drawn back to the drawing board by the sound of a sentence. I know that feeling well.
Happy Publication Day 💙🧡💛❤️🤍
Thank you, Janey!
