Leslie, thank you. I haven't really thought beyond this. It was just so much fun to do it with Bill and Jeremy—or to watch them do it. For me, the doing was everything. So — not on top of anything. Aren't I a marketing klutz, though?
I’ll make s sojourn downtown to see it! I love how the poster manifests not only the book, but the storied and vanishing institution of print journalism.
Kim, thank you — and yes. At one point I just threw all modesty caution to the wind. You only live one. You only have your first novel for adults once (after so many books), and I hope it gives some passersby a smile down on Walnut Street.
Janey, the book will be available through Ingram, Amazon, etc., so order-able where you are. I think. Gosh. I hope. Love the idea of looking out to the sea and talking and walking with you and Misty.
Can you imagine, Peggy. Times Square! Alas. But since this is a Philly book, we are pretending 16th and Walnut IS Times Square. Also, I'd have to work for another ten years to be able to afford an inch in Manhattan. :)
When your magnificent novel becomes a major motion picture, promise me you WILL spend some of your windfall profits on a billboard in Times Square because that would be leavening for the loaf, to be sure. In the meantime, 16th and Walnut is just awesome--can't wait to see it. And those shimmering words from your reviewer? Goodness! Think I'll just bask in those for a while, imagining how you felt reading them for the first time, even in these darkest of times.
I love this so much -- for you, and for your beloveds! So joyful to create this together, in loving support of your new book! Great focus for your book marketing plan too. Local media story bringing delight in the midst of grim news cycles.
Very cool!!
:)
Oh, this totally makes my day. I'm going to be grinning and sharing this. So fun! Can't wait to see the photos... Good pick on that partner of yours!
I have been eternally blessed by this partner of mine. Thank you so much, Deb, for seeing the fun in this.
I love this!!! You're probably already on top of this, but I can imagine some essays and/or additional press for your billboard.

Obviously the doing can be enough! But somehow I see your billboard on the local news and in Poets & Writers!
You are … hired! I never think about such things. Thank you. Now to ponder the how….

Well wouldn't it be fun to take that walk with you! xo
Yayyyyy. What a great family project!
It was fun to have fun. xo
What a marvelous and utterly original idea!
Hello, my friend. We had such fun with this one. It just all came together in that weird once in a lifetime way.
I love everything about this, Beth. How fun, how clever, and what the hell not? xo

I love the family-ness of that, like the three of us, you see to have a shared secret way of viewing things 😊
Is your book to be published in the UK, or will I have to wait for your visit to get my copy?😉
(You can sleep in the attic, look out to sea, and cuddle Misty...)

Brilliant marketing. I love the ad your husband created and the placement your son manifested. A true family affair.
Ginni, thank you. We had so much fun. We needed the smiles.
Oh, your adorable, Jeremy! I was in Times Square a few days ago. Wish that bill board was there...would have been a VAST improvement.

You are something rather special, Peggy Mandell. We’ll dream together! And bask right now. xo
How cool, i love it!!! 🙌🙌🙌💖
Why, thank you!!
Oh, I love the fun of this. Makes me want to drive to Philly (an old stomping ground) just to see it on the newsstand. Such a talented family.
I am so glad to know that Philadelphia has stood in your presence, dear Char.
My MSW is from U of P, and then worked at Children’s Hospital- rich years.
Amazing! Wish I could see it!
I will take photos, I promise.

Oh, we need whatever joy we can find, fabricate, extend. You are a yielder of grace and joy. Thank you, Hiro.
This is so so great!!!
Thank you!
Now this is worth making a trip to Philadelphia! So fun!
I agree. 🫶
